At Studentpalatset we offer study halls and group study rooms for students at Stockholm university, KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Karolinska institutet, Södertörn university and Stockholm school of economics.

To access Studentpalatset you need an activated card for entrance and exit.

If you have a valid plastic card from either Studentkortet or Mecenat it can be activated at the reception desk and be used as an access card at Studentpalatset. If you only have the card as an app on your phone or not at all you can buy a card at the reception desk for 10 SEK. To have the card activated for more than just a day you’ll have to show a valid student-id. It’s possible to pay with card.

If you have left your card at home, you can borrow a card against a cash deposit of 10 SEK at the reception desk.

Students at other universities and colleges can, when there are seats available, borrow a card for the day against a cash deposit of 10 SEK. To do this you must be able to show a valid student-id.

The Scandinavian College of Naprapathic Manual Medicine has decided to not be a part of the collaboration funding Studentpalatset, so subsequently their students can no longer access the premises.

It’s possible to access Studentpalatset with a wheelchair. To the right of the entrance you’ll find a door through which you via a small ramp can enter the building. You will also find an elevator to the left of the entrance hall, close to the Auditorium. Remember to turn off your phone and talk quietly in areas where you might disturb your fellow students. We hope you will enjoy your visit to Studentpalatset!
